Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's children - was born at Woodland Hills in the year 1956. Her father taught school as did her mother, who was a homemaker. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her older brothers. McCormick was an accomplished artist and singer from a young age. She perform shows using puppets to entertain her friends. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was selected from among 1,200 kids who auditioned for the chance to play the eldest of three daughters towheaded on the new TV show The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as newlyweds with an unintended family. The show lasted for five seasons. McCormick's book Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was released in the year 2008. She revealed in it that McCormick was close to losing her virginity on set of the series during its fifth season to Barry Williams. In 2008, McCormick revealed in her book Here's the story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Identifying My True Voice that during season five of the show, she nearly lost her virginity to Barry Williams. The incident would have happened according to her. The timing of our romance was not right.
